Coconut Rice

Coconut Rice

This is a great side dish to serve with your favorite Asian Fusion or Thai Dish. It pairs well with Korean BBQ Beef tacos.

Prep time:  5 mins

Cook time: 30 minutes

Serves: 6
INGREDIENTS
 Coconut Rice
  • 2 Cups Jasmine Rice
  • 4 Cups Coconut Milk (Full Fat)
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Cup Cilantro, rough chopped (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Put rice and coconut milk in a rice cooker. Stir and Close the lid. Turn on setting for white rice
  2. Sautee Garlic in Butter for 2 minutes or until the garlic is a light golden brown
  3. When rice is done, toss with garlic, salt, and cilantro
